Frequently Asked Questions

What payment methods do you accept?

VISA debit and credit cards or cash payments.

How long does an inspection take?

About 3 hours, but it can go longer depending on the square-footage, age/condition, foundation type and additional services like sewer scopes or pool inspections.

Do I have to have an inspection to buy a home?

You don’t necessarily NEED an inspection to buy a home, but your lender may require it to satisfy the loan and most real estate professionals recommend it.

Do you offer discounts?

We currently offer $25 first-time buyer discounts and active-duty or military veteran discounts (with ID).

When should I schedule my inspection?

Leaks are easier to find after a heavy rain, but unfortunately our schedules aren’t always flexible. Mornings and afternoon appointments both have advantages, so we’ll let you be the judge!

What is the craziest thing you've seen on an inspection?

I inspected tornado damage on a few occasions, which was pretty humbling.

What's the most interesting thing you've inspected?

I’ve inspected a couple banks, a post office, a care-facility with residents (that was a crazy day), a movie studio, storefronts and a couple homes that were previously crime scenes.

What's the most important tool you use?

Definitely my flashlight – I wouldn’t be able to properly inspect without it. But after that it would probably be my infrared camera, because it sees things that your eyes can’t which is very useful.

Can we follow you on social media?

Yes, please do! We’re on Instagram and you can find us on Facebook too.
