About Ace Home Inspection

InterNACHI

I started Ace Home Inspection in 2024 after nearly a decade of performing residential and commercial inspections for a multi-inspector firm. Although Ace Home Inspection is still relatively new, my experience helping homeowners, buyers and sellers perform quality home inspections dates back to 2015. Since then, I have completed nearly 2,000 roof-to-foundation inspections.

(Roof, foundation, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc), including main sewer line scopes, mold testing and sampling, pool and spa inspections, plus over 100 insurance claim inspections as an independent insurance adjuster. It is our goal at Ace to provide you with a trustworthy inspection every single time, and to identify issues with a clear photo report the next business day. We look forward to meeting you, and thank you for choosing Ace Home Inspection.

Buyer's Home Inspection

Standard Home Inspection

A standard home inspection involves a thorough inspection of the home according to InterNACHI Standard of Practice. This is a limited visual inspection of the main systems of a house, including but not limited to the roof, siding, windows, foundation, electrical, plumbing, insulation, ventilation, and mechanical systems. This service is typically provided for a home buyer or seller interested in the overall condition of the home prior to closing.

Multi-family Inspection

Multi-family Home Inspection

A multi-family home inspection involves a limited visual inspection of buildings with four (x4) units or less, according to the InterNACHI Standard of Practice. Similar to a Standard Home Inspection, multi-family inspections often involve larger and more inter-connected building systems. This service is typically provided for an investor buyer or seller interested in the overall condition of the building prior to closing, and often occur as a means for an investor to ‘check-up’ on their property.

Pool Inspection

Pool & Spa Inspections

Pool and spa inspections involve a limited visual inspection of the water and the parts of the pool or spa that move or change it. These items include but are not limited to the pumps, valves, electrical connections, pool shell and coping (where visible), skimmers, pool deck, and other safety features such as the anti-suction drain cover, self-closing gates, etc.

Re-Inspection

Re-Inspections

Real estate negotiations often involve a scenario where the seller must fix defective items discovered in the initial home inspection. To verfiy that these repairs have been made prior to closing, many buyers will have a re-inspection performed. Re-inspections typically involve an inspection of the specific item(s) that have been repaired, replaced or altered.

Drone Photography

Drone Photography

Although there is no substitute for the human eye, high-resolution drone photography can be a great alternative when hard-to-reach places aren’t accessible. Drone photography can also be used to take arial photos of the entire property which helps homeowners experience and think about their property like never before; this can be especially helpful when planning a renovation, or addition.

Disclaimer: It should be noted that drone photography should never be used as a substitute for a human inspector, even when the area being inspected is deemed inaccessible. The inspector reserves the right to determine his own safety in regard to what is deemed inaccessible or unsafe, per the InterNACHI Standard of Practice. When areas are deemed inaccessible and drone photography service is not included, the inspector will use binoculars instead. It is recommended that all inaccessible areas be inspected by a qualified professional, regardless of drone photography.

Client Testimonials

“Dave’s professionalism and thoroughness was very appreciated. As an insurance adjuster, I was able to spot a few problems during my tour. Dave went above and beyond to make us aware of the potential issues with the home that I was unaware of. His photo report and explanation were clear cut and extremely helpful in our negotiations.”

Steven W.

I can’t say enough. Dave was our inspector, and we were there for the beginning and left him to inspect everything on his own. The property is over 60 years old, and Dave gave us a very detailed review. He made himself available to ask questions, which I used twice, and he gave me confidence in my understanding of the issues…The person buying this home is a first time homebuyer and Dave understands how important this decision is. There are some major issues, including mold, found, and we are in the process of figuring out if she wants to walk away from this pretty little house. If she walks away from this home, we will utilize them for the next one, for sure.

Gina M.

“Dave has inspected many homes for me over the years and have always done a great job! He is very thorough and always has reasonable and affordable recommendations for fixing any potential issues. I couldn’t recommend him more to anyone looking for a home inspector!”
